I will be perfectly honest here, I've become a little bit obsessed with Martha Stewart lately. When I saw she was coming to Birmingham to do a book signing, I immediately ordered two copies of her new cookbook (pictured above) from Borders. If you're in the market for this book order it online from here, because its currently 40% off! Great deal! I purchased two copies because I wanted to give E, my friend I met through work who is slowly becoming one of closest friends, a signed copy for Christmas. I then convinced my boss to rework my schedule so I could make it to the store by 6:00 pm on Wednesday. Guess what? Martha switched the time! It's now at 3:00 pm. I can't possibly make it in the middle of a work day. I had B all set to go with me so I could get E's copy signed too. He offered to go without me, but it just won't be the same. :( I'm pretty bummed out. Adventures of a Southern Newlywed did a post about how much she is enjoying her copy and I'm sure E and I will too, I just really wanted to meet "the woman" herself in person and give E an extra special gift! I know she'll still love the book!

AWWWWWWWWW! That is the WORST!!! I am TOTALLY obsessed with her too! Her birthday is the day after mine too! LOVE IT! LOVE HER!
Oh My Gosh! I heard she was going to be there too and wanted to go soooo badly since my office is like 10 minutes away! But, same problem, 3:00 doesn't work for us working girls! :(
