The Last Supper

I finally was able to watch The Last Supper episode of Bravo's Real Housewives of New Jersey this weekend. WOW! Are people really like this? And by people, I mean Danielle. Are there people like Danielle in this country? What a terrible person! What a terrible MOTHER! Two things really stuck out to me while watching the extended cut of this show:

1. Danielle was loving the attention! Why else would she have taken that opportunity to bring up the issue of "the book", let alone bring it with her and randomly (or shall I say, dramatically?) place it on the table? She said something along the lines of "why did Teresa flip the table? Why because I had a book written about me?" No....because you're a psycho. And why did she feel the need to act like this book would have never been discovered if not for Dina and Caroline? It was written in 1996! Its been around! And now you're on TV, honey, it might become public knowledge. I'm just saying...Dina didn't write it! A man you were married to did! Hello?

2. Danielle is a terrible different type of mother. The thing I like about the other women (and also the women of the O.C.) is that they're believable! These women are like many I know: mothers, wives, career women, like to have fun and buy nice things, ect. Danielle is like no one I know. Forget her insane past for a moment and look at just the facts from that dinner: she drank like a fish, she allowed her children to be in the room while there was an argument about very adult material, and at the end while she LIT A CIGARETTE she continued to vent to her children about these other women! She is odd to say the least, and I hope her daughters turn out ok. I really do.
I hope this is next year's cast! No Danielle!!!
Okay, so I know flipping a table is not only unclassy and unladylike, but its a little nutty. However, I still like Teresa! She's funny! And I do think she is an excellent mother. I have no experience in that area, but her children seem well mannered and she seems so interested in being a good mom! I would imagine 3 daughters is a major hand full, but she is pulling it off! I can't wait to get that book...I'm STILL on the waiting list.....I read some of the blogs on Bravo's website, and Jill Zarin wrote a great post about this finale/Final Supper episode. She really took the words right out of my mouth! I wish Gloria would blog!

One final thing, I am approaching both my 200th post and my 1 year Anniversary of blogging (Monday), and I have a little giveaway in the works! This will be my first, and I hope you all like what I've put together!

Happy almost blogaversary!! :)

And geez, yes Danielle is a piece of work!! And I do worry about her kids so much. She is an AWFUL mom!!

And yea Teresa is a funny, crazy table flipper, stage mom who loves lip gloss for 3 year olds way to much! BUT I like her! I feel like she genuinely cares about her family and kids. And I can def. appreciate that!

I'm off to read Jill's blog about it! :)

You took the words out of my mouth! I couldn't believe the end and how Danielle was still going on about this to her daughters. I am going to read Jill's blog today!
