Back view:
When I returned to the store today, the 12 of the original dress was already sold, so I took it as a sign to try on a few new ones. Lilly's sizing is really funny! In some dresses, I'm a perfect 8, but in others, I take a 10. I also tried on this dress and loved it! I think I may be back for it later this summer.
I'm learning that certain styles are just much more flattering on my body type (hour glass), and both of these dresses fit the bill! When I was younger, I used to wish I had a straighter figure. I hated my hour glass frame, but now I've learned (well its still a work in progress) how to dress so that its more flattering to my body. Also, as I've been getting into better shape, I've really been feeling better about my figure. Too bad I wasted so much time wishing for something else! Do you ever wish you could have visited yourself at 16 with what you know now and enlightened yourself a bit? I sure do!Thanks to everyone who commented with advice about this shopping dilemma!

I'm so glad you found something that you love! The fiesta dress is darling! I'm sure you will look gorgeous in it (please post IRL pics!) As for dressing your body...knowing what works is half the battle!
I absolutely love the dress you ended up with. Think it is more versatile, too - that one will take you from early spring through summer, easily.
And yes, it takes most of us a while to get comfortable with our given body shape. I still struggle with mine, but age & perspective definitely help.
