The disasters I haven't told you about!

There have been two minor disasters that I haven't yet shared. One had to do with the Rehearsal Invitations. Yes, the wrong date was printed on the invitations! Luckily, I caught it before they were mailed and the stationary store reprinted for no extra charge, the same day nonetheless! I used a lovely store to handle both the Wedding and Rehearsal Invitations. I can't wait to go back in and order my Christmas cards!

The other crisis has to do with my dress. Its a very long story, but I purchased my dress at a boutique 2 hours from my home. They altered the bust and took too much off! My dress is currently being altered again my a seamstress here, in Birmingham, and I am really hoping she can fix it! I need the hips taken in and the bust let back out! The original seamstress cut the fabric, so there is only a 1/2 inch to work with! I have a feeling this will work out, as my dress is in excellent hands now. I'll keep you posted!

In a non wedding related event (I know, are there such things the month of one's nuptials?), today is the Michigan v. Michigan State football game! Normally, I'd be in East Lansing cheering on the Spartans, but alas, I am at work, watching it rain through the window of the library. I think the only game I'll be attending this year will be against Penn State and isn't until November, when I'll have a much more lax schedule! Anyway, Go Green!!! (But don't hold you breath....)

SO happy for you that you were able to get the invitations reprinted. They really are fantastic. I love the look of the logo.

My fingers are crossed for you that the dress will work out as smoothly (I just know it will - power of positive thinking!)

Go MSU - at least until they play Penn State - then I'll have to be on the other side.

Hope the dress works out! I'm sure it'll be fine! Yeah, print shops are usually great when things like that go wrong. Especially something like that!

Good luck!

Oh goodness Miss Princess, that is scary about the invites, but good news on the shop reprinting them! As far as the dress goes I just know your seamstress will work wonders for you, the Wedding Fairy has decreed it!

And wasn't that an amazing game?

Smiles to you,
tp

Weddings and stress...oh yes, I remember that! If all else fails with the bustline issue, try a minimizer bra (they always work for me when a garment is too tight in that area)!
