How to Make a Hummer

On Saturday I enjoyed my very first Kahlua Hummer.

Here is how to make one at home:

Ingredients/Quantities for one drink:
1 oz Coffee Liqueur (such as Kahlua)
1 oz Light Rum
2 Scoops Vanilla Ice-cream

Blending Instructions:
Blend all ingredients in an electric blender at a low speed for a short length of time.
Pour into a highball glass and serve.

I plan to enjoy another one of these in Disney World next month! So refreshing, and great dessert substitution! Yum!

Hummers are hands down the most delightful after dinner treat known to man. Had them at our friend's beach club, and am addicted!

I always thought that Hummers were a Michigan thing. I haven't had one since I lived there and nobody down here in NC has heard of them. They are delicious! A grown-ups milkshake. :)
