Fashion Show

I had the opportunity to walk in a runway show last weekend. I was so nervous, but it was really fun! I met some great girls, and got to wear a beautiful dress.

Funniest part of the evening?? Oh, when one of the other models asked me my age (I made some reference to the 90s). When I told her I'm 28, so almost died! She said, "No way!! I'm 22 and I thought you were my age or younger! Gosh, I hope I look as good as you when I'm your age..." A bunch other girls seemed shocked at my age as well. Funny. Honestly, I do look young, but I thought it was super sweet she is hoping to look this good when she's my age...in 6 whole years.... Hahaha! She was so sincere, and I guess 28 does seem "old" when you're 22. I spent the day hanging out with two High School students, there with their moms. The moms were so darling, and I actually thought to myself, "I sure hope I'm so cute when I'm in my 40s" I guess it's all relative. One of the girls is a dancer, and the other lives right near me. It was fun hanging with them, since it was a very long day. Do you all in the South have Cider Mills? I always wondered if it's just a Northern thing?

Here are some pics from the show:

There is another of the two dolls I met, and I'm in the background. I love hilarious candid shot like this one....
Gotta wonder what the heck I'm doing in this picture???

I shot a music video on Saturday. As soon as I have it, I'll post it for you all to see. I have a few candids from the "wedding scene", which is hilarious because Jay (the singer) and I had met only once before. And now we're an old married couple! :) It was fun getting married all over again. B came to watch part of the shoot and he said it looked great from his perspective. It was nice having him there. The group I'm working with is very tight knit, and they were all eager to meet my husband. He really never wants to be "that guy", and I agree. I can be independent when it comes to modeling, but in this case, it was lovely having him there and fun too!

Yesterday, we went to the apple orchard. We picked a bag of apples, bought two pumpkins and enjoyed some cider and doughnuts. Doughnuts are probably my favorite guilty pleasure, and there nothing better than fresh, hot doughnuts! Delicious!Little catepiller I found. They're really cute.

I've been resisting Fall. It's my favorite season, but I just wasn't ready for the colder weather this year. After yesterday, I'm committed and very exciting to do some baking this week with my delicious apples!

You look so darn cute! Just fab!

I baked apple crisp yesterday and pumpkin chocolate chip scones today. I can't get enough of fall food. The weather has been gorgeous (in the eighties), but I really am ready for the 60s and 70s. Can't believe I'm saying that! :)
