Face to Face

My best friend said to me yesterday, "Face to face is the way God intended us to interact with each other, and it's always best". She's right. I met with my friend mentioned in the previous post on Sunday evening, and we had a really great discussion. We didn't just "smooth things over", we communicated well, and I think our friendship is stronger for it. Sometimes people do grow apart, and while it's sad, often times it's just easier to let them walk away. I'm glad I didn't give up on this friendship, and I'm glad she didn't either. I sincerely appreciate the comments. It meant a lot to know I'm not alone, but also to know that this is really a very "normal" part of growing up. Some friends are worth it, others might not be, only you know in your heart how you feel. I'm glad I followed my heart and worked this out.

In some other news, I've lined up a few modeling gigs! On Friday, I'll be walking in a runway show for a local Detroit designer, Kelly Lynne. Her clothes are just darling, and she is a wonderful person. I'm happy to be working with her. I'm a bit nervous, but I'm just not going to let my nerves ruin this opportunity for me! I'm also slated to be in two music videos for a local artist, who is getting very popular all over the country. As soon as we film, I'll be sure to post the video and all the information for you! I know many of my readers are country music fans, so I think you'll all love his music!

I ordered my "Comp Cards" last week, and I'm dying for them to arrive! I wanted to wait to sign with more agencies until I have my cards. Now, the waiting game is killing me! I just hope that more good things keep coming with the adventure. It's exciting to be trying something so new!
