Huh?

I'm currently manning the reference desk at work, and a college aged girl just came up to ask me for help. This is the conversation:

Me: Hello

Co-ed: I need your help.

Me: Yes?

Co-ed: (completely serious) I'm tutoring a girl who is in the year before preschool, she goes to Montessori, and I need some books to help her practice reading. Books with one or two words per page....

Me: You're "tutoring a child in the year before preschool"?

Once I regained my composure and stifled my laughter, I helped her find some books. Tutoring, huh? The year before preschool? People are insane! Only its not really her fault, its the crazy parents! Could you imagine being hired to tutor a 3 year old???

Funny, she'll end up being one of those Mommies that pushes her poor children to the point of stress!

Aw, poor little thing! she needs to be a little girl, not a pre-med student or whatever her parents are prepping her for! how funny.

Oh Miss Highness of Cute, what a sad thing!

The poor child should be allowed to be a child for a few years at least. Honestly.

BTW, the post about the wreath echoes our sentiments as well!

Grins and giggles for the rest of your week,
