Ballet

I just signed up for a ballet class! It's Thursday evenings starting next week. I'm so excited, but so nervous! I haven't taken class since 2002! That was a college class. I haven't been in a serious class since high school! I'm praying muscle memory will kick into gear once I'm back in tights!

In high school I was very serous about ballet and was in class anywhere from 5-7 days a week. I've really missed it in the last few years. I'm so happy that the Birmingham Community House offers adult classes. They also offer some neat cooking classes too. Perhaps this summer, I'll find the time to take one of these! I certainly hope so!

Oh thats so great! I would love to take a ballet class, unfortunately I was not born with all that much grace and would probably end up giggling throughout most of the class! My friend and I took a kickboxing class a few years ago and got kicked out because we both kept cracking up :-) opps...

Oh how fabulous!! I am not sure I realized you were a dancer too. That will be so much fun to take class!

I'm so jealous! A few years ago I decided I wanted to be a ballerina. Now, mind you I was like 21 & not in good shape & spent most of my non-class hours at the bar. This idea did not pan out {Plus, I can hardly walk a straight line...very clumsy!} but hopefully you'll enjoy the class! I'd love to head about it!

I have always wanted to take ballet! I didn't take dance growing up and I often toy with the idea of getting into a beginning adult class... is that too lofty of an ambition for a woman in her late-20's? What do you think? :)

I almost signed up for ballet too. Instead I went with sewing!
