My current front runner is this style:
I wear my hair down almost everyday and I have wanted a pretty sparkly headband to wear. I also still need to buy the veil and I'd like a blusher.Two others I like:
If I do the Modern Bride style, I'd like it to be really big and curly like the above shot.
A few updo styles I like are:
I think this undone updo is very me! And it would be good with or without a veil. I also a have a beautiful antique diamond hairpin from my late grandmother that I can wear with any of these updos.

The pin is long and narrow. I could simply replace the bow with the pin.
My goal for my wedding day is to look like me only better! :) More glam! And I need the hair to work for me, not the other way around. When I wear my hair down on a normal day, I need to brush it often so it doesn't look stringy. I flat iron it too. When I take the time to set it in curls, it holds the curl well, and I don't need to brush it out for hours.
The advantage to the updo would be that I'd feel 100% worry-free about the style, but I'm not sure it'll be the most flattering because I have bangs.

Out of all these, I like the first updo the best. I think the headband with the veil and the blusher will be too much.
If I could go back and re-do my wedding, I would wear my hair up. I wore mine down because i had the same feelings you do, but I got so hot and my hair was yucky by the end of the night. I would go with up. I love that style where girls curl their hair and pin it up on the side, but really low. It's really pretty! Not sure if you know what I'm talking about...
I would do an updo! There are only so many opportunities in your life to wear a full glam updo, and this is one of them. I think your bangs will only make it cuter! However, I like the idea of the curly hair with a headband. The only thing about that is that if you get hot, your hair gets a little sweaty and your curls may fall. Either one is going to look beautiful!

Love the hairstyles. I am going to wear my hair down for our wedding and I like the big and curly look! You'll look beautiful either way! The first photo (on Modern Bride) actually looks like you from your photos!

By the way, your 3rd picture is how I wore my hair. I absolutely loved it the day she styled me and on my bridal portrait day. What I really wish is that I had worn it down for the ceremony and put it up for the reception. Maybe you could just have your stylist hang out... it's a thought!
