We made ribs. They turned out great! I was so glad, because it was the first time we tried them! Not always wise, but this time it worked out!
Everyone loves this one, because B is giving me such an odd look! I bet he was thinking "She needs to slow down in the beverage department"!
My best friend, Sarah, and my brother. They're both in our wedding, and I imagine we'll be in their's in a few years. She and I have been friends 10 years!

Yes, I bought sparklers! Its just not The Fourth without them! My friend Joe is in the background. He's the guy who took those great pictures of me last Fall.
Sitting out front and watching the Birmingham fireworks with our neighbors. I'm looking rough....On Sunday, I had a really wild adventure. I'm still waiting to upload those pictures!
UPDATED TO ADD- I had a comment asking about my brother and best friend's wedding. Yes, they are dating, and I assume will be married within a few years! They're both in Law School right, so I'd imagine they will wait until that is over. I couldn't be happier for them!

I drank a little on the Fourth as well. I tried something new called "Firefly." It tasted just like brewed iced tea. So refreshing.
Food, drinks, family, friends, and fireworks. It's what the Fourth is all about.
