My Life In France

Lisa at Vintage Florida suggested I read My Life In France, Julia Child's autobiography (written with Alex Prud'homme, her great-nephew) about her time living in Paris in the 1950s. I checked out the audio book from the library yesterday(actually B picked it up for me...), and I'm already really enjoying it! I have a rather longish commute to and from work, and I pretty much always listen to audio books. If the first 30 minutes of this book are any indication of how the rest of the ten discs will be, I am already going to recommend this book to you all! Thanks Lisa!

I'm also currently reading Bobby & Jackie, A Love Story By C. David Heymann. When reading Jackie After Jack (a great read by the way), the author, Christopher Anderson, wrote about a romance between Jackie Kennedy and Bobby Kennedy after the death of JFK. It wasn't really a huge part of the book though. I always wondered about that, so when this book came out, I was dying to read it! So far, so good. The author has been able to get many first hand accounts. I am still in the early stages of this book too, but as with any other Jackie biography, I love it!

P.S.- You have until midnight tonight to enter B's Giveaway! He will draw a winner Thursday evening when I return home from ballet around 8:30pm EST in case you're just dying! HA!
