To my unborn child (if I'm that brave)
Warning to my future children....if you have a meltdown/temper tantrum in the library, we'll be leaving. I certainly won't let you scream while I continue to browse for books, for YOU! Just an F.Y.I.

Yes...that's what you do! Good for you for knowing what some parents don't seem to get!
You and me both! Why do parents let their kids get away with such atrocious behavoir! Oh Well... I guess we should check back when we're actaully mommies!
I'm with you on that, for sure!
And you will be a wonderful parent!! That is exactly what you do ;-) xoxo
I'm with ya girlfriend! I criiinge when I see that out in public!
Hahaha. You and me both, my friend.
I love this! I'll be a parent soon and there is no doubt in my mind that I will drag my screaming mimi of a child out of any business or establishment when necessary, haha.
I'm with you on that one!!!
Hey Freckles! I lived in B-ham then moved to Chi-town (suburbs of) for two years and now I'm back in Birmingham as of 3 weeks ago. An icky and unexpected breakup..sigh.. but I'm recovering.
My sister & I were at Somerset today and guess what we heard? Screaming children while Mummsy ignored them while trying on clothes!! We had to leave the store because our very last patient nerve was frayed. The children yelled, cried, screamed for a solid 15 min. (which is actually 30 min. in shopping time). On the bright side? We spent less money..lol
Oh no!!!
Good for you Brown Eyed Girl! I can't stand people who say I would never... when they have never been in a situation... I used to say it too, btw... now I have learned never to say never! But, no, I would never let my child have a meltdown in a library or anywhere public... except in the grocery checkout... when I have already waited 10 minutes and I have $300 worth of food... sometimes you just have to... and then appologize profusely to everyone within the mile!
Did you get my email? Went to the post office yesterday... forgot to bring your addy... book will go out tomorrow. I promise!
That's what I did & my children. That move you mentioned works at stores & restaurants too. ;) The trick with that parenting move is you have to stick with it. It works wonders & fast!! You will be a great mom one day.
I'm thanking you in advance for this one girl!
HA! I am a new follower and am catching up on your blog, so I'm a little late to the party on this comment. And FYI, we are neighbors! I live in Oakland County as well.
