There really is never anything to say about that day...I posted on this as well...and I included a little note about Galveston because today is the 1 year anniversary of Hurricane Ike.
This is a tough picture to even look at...I don't want to ever forget, and I never will forget what happened or where I was on that day, but I hate looking at the photos. It makes me so sad!
I'll never forget 9/11 we were on our way into NYC for a yoga class downtown at Chambers St. We heard a place crashed into one of the towers...we were still trying to make it to class! Eventually we realized how bad the situation was we made our way home. Mr Madras & I saw tower two fall...it was the saddest thing ever. For weeks after there was a huge black line of smoke drifting out to sea. I'll never forget everyone that lost their lives, their loved ones or fought/fights for our freedom.

I can't believe it has been 8 years. The time has passed so quickly but I will never forget that morning as long as I live.
What a reminder...thanks!

Was watching Fox this morning and the replayed the events of 9/11. Still sends chills up my spine. I'll never forget.
