Charlie Horses, Holland, Wedding, Rain

I made it through ballet last night with zero wipe outs! :) Although, I woke up at 12:30 am the the worst Charlie Horse I've ever experienced! it lasted about five minutes and eventually worked its way from my lower leg up through my thigh! I was actually crying from the pain, but trying to be really quiet so I didn't wake up my husband. This morning, he said that I need more bananas in my diet. I think I need to also add a multi-vitamin to my daily routine, and am open to suggestions on any good vitamins. I eat lots of bananas, but this is much more serious than a simple banana will fix I fear. I've seriously never had a leg cramp last more than a few seconds, let alone five minutes!

He is picking me up from work at 1:30 and we are heading across the state of Michigan to Holland for a wedding tomorrow! He's a groomsman, so we're heading up tonight for the Rehearsal Dinner. It also happens to be the annual Tulip Festival this weekend! I've always wanted to go to this, so I plan to spend some time tomorrow exploring the city of Holland! B will be busy all afternoon with photos and wedding festivities.

I just really hope the weather forecast is wrong, because its raining right now, and predicted to do so tomorrow as well. It rained a little on my wedding day and its not really a big deal, but a bride always dreams of a warm sunny day (unless, I guess, you've planned your wedding for the Winter)! I hope everyone has a great weekend!

Sorry to hear about your Charlie Horse. Those are the worst. I've heard they can also be caused by lack of water. I don't know if that's for certain, though.

I hope you have a great weekend and a lot of fun at the wedding. Take some photos of the Tulip Festival. I'd love to see some! :)

Happy Friday, Princess!

bagh humbug! fingers crossed our weather cleans up and I'd research potassium-rich foods- the reason why he wants you to eat bananas- there are plenty of fish in the sea where that is concerned- many that are more rich in that mineral than even bananas!

How fun! I can't wait to see your Tulip festival pictures!!!! I also just realized I never sent you my Chicken Paprikas recipe! WHOOPS!

Have a blast this weekend!

PS: Everyday I take Centrum, Super B-Complex, and fish oil. Centrum is great! Let us know what you end up using!

I get horrible charlie horses, they are the WORST! I went to the Dr. a few months ago about them and he said that increasing Potassium is a myth. His suggestion was some light stretching before bed, a multi-vitamin and making sure to be 100% rehydrated after working out. So now I always make an effort to drink a least 8 oz of water before going to sleep, and I haven't been getting charlie's nearly as often!!!
