30 Days of Thanksgiving

One of my favorite blogger's, Alex at Running Just as Fast as I Can, is doing this series where everyday in the month of November, she posts about something for which she is thankful in her life. I'm stealing this idea. I think it'll be really good for me to find one thing (or more) each day for which I'm thankful to share with you.

Since it's already the third, I'm going to give three today.

1. I am thankful for my job (where I can even find a minute to blog) in these hard economic times. Our contract is being renegotiated this month. No matter what happens, I will still be so thankful I work here.

2. I am SO thankful for the election results in my state! My party won the governor's office, attorney general, and the SOS office. I'm so happy that people came out to vote!

3. I'm thankful for all the leftover Halloween candy. I have to try not to eat it, but those fun-sized Twix are addicting!

I love this idea! I am doing 30 days of gratitude (on FB status) by sharing 30 single Bible verses each day. Our church gave out a devotional guide for it on Sunday...thankfulness is such a good exercise for mind, body and soul!
