Weeeellllll, 2 feet we did not get. It snowed, but it wasn't even nearly as bad as predicted. I decided to brave it, and I made it into work without incident today. The roads were almost abandoned. A little eerie really. We've had zero patrons today in my department. That might come as a surprise because
we're the only idiots library open today.......
Oh well, I'll have that vacation day for when I take a vacation and escape this weather!
I was happy to open my email this morning to find that the pillow shams I ordered from
Pottery Barn have shipped! They were originally back ordered until April. Can't wait to see how the bedding looks all together!

Glad you made it to work safely! We got a mix of ice, sleet and rain here in NJ so I stayed home today. I hate wasting a vacation day for weather, but the roads are a mess. Safe travels...

Hi! Glad you didnt' get the two feet...we here in NY got an ice storm but its now rain and hopefully going to wash away some of the major sky high piles of snow we have all over the place!! Glad it wasn't as bad as predicted! I don't miss those days from my time in NY. I am so over winter this year and I haven't had near what y'all have faced. In less than 3 months I will be in Naples and warm!!!!
We were supposed to get a lot of snow here in London as well! We got some snow, but not as much as they said we were gonna get. However they still closed down schools and I still had to go to work! I feel your pain. :(
