I know many of you have been posting about the upcoming change of season, and your excitement. Weeelllll............I like Autumn as much as anyone (probably my favorite season), but this snow, freezing rain, dreary day, snow, gray, cold, slow commute, negative temperature, snow!!!! hating girl is in NO rush for Summer to end! I'm hanging onto the sunshine for as long as I can!
Hence tomorrow (B is out of town for work tonight and tomorrow), I will be spending my day doing this:
I have just started using Retin-A cream, so I'll have to keep my face safe from the sun, but the rest of me is going to soak up some vitamin d. Y'all can enjoy your Pumpkin Spice Lattes (I'll get mine come late September). I'm going to make myself some iced tea (and maybe add a healthy pouring of Firefly) and enjoy the last few days of Summer. What's the rush?

I'm with you. Cheers to summer.
I wouldn't mind summer if it wasn't 110 and so humid going out my front door feels like walking into a wall. These days are just perfect - no humidity, a nice cool breeze and sunshine. Today actually makes me like summer :O)
I see your point about the snow...I've never lived in snow, so I'm one of the fall fanatics;) lol. I hope you enjoy your day ;)
I'm with you 110% Princess Freckles!!! VIVA LA SUMMER!!!!
I couldn't agree more. We'll be freezing our butts off all too soon.
Pour me some iced tea. I'll hold off on the Pumpkin Spice latte. :)
I hope you have great success using Retin-A. I swear by it and think it's the only thing available on the market that will truly help with the aging process. Don't forget the sunscreen. My favorite - Vanicream. Awesome!
Have a great weekend!
Aww, I don't blame you :) Soak up those rays while you got 'em!
I'm one of those rushing summer out...waiting for anything and everything pumpkin-nish! I just love Fall!
If our weather was as cold as your weather I would be dreading it too!
I hope you have a great weekend!
eeeeeeeeeeenjoy... feels so good to have color!
kHm
my momma always says "don't wish your life away" so maybe y'all are both right.....not trying to wish summer away exactly, but i can't help getting exciting about fall. it's what comes after fall that this belle isn't so fond of. slushy snow and cold. hope you are soaking it up in style, but of course i expect nothing less from you sweetie! xoxo
Honey, I couldn't agree more. Let's not be too hasty with the glen plaid and root vegetables... :)
^^ I read this quickly and thought you said plaid vegetables. Which would be possible, if you think about it.
I hope you enjoyed your time in the sun!!!
Summer in Savannah is so hot and humid. I am ready for cooler fall weather!
