I am now ready

for Fall that is! This weekend I did the following things in celebration:

1. Enjoyed my first Pumpkin Spice Latte from Starbucks on Saturday with my friend.
2. Spent Saturday and Sunday watching my favorite sport, football.
3. Made my grandma's homemade tomato sauce yesterday (and also some eggplant parm, and chick pea spread).
4. Cozied up under the covers and finished the book I was reading.
I also busted out my favorite black turtleneck to wear to Mass yesterday, because it was a little chilly. I love to hold onto Summer, and I hate rushing my life, but Fall is here, and I couldn't be happier! Next weekend, we head to my alma mater, Michigan State University to tailgate with my college friends and watch the Spartans take on the Irish! Can't wait!

What a productive weekend. I am ready for a PSL, but I think I'm going to check the temps and wait until it hits 50 first. I'll see if I can wait that long. =) I would love to learn to make tomato sauce, I'm adding it to my to-do list!

Sounds like the perfect weekend.

I had my first Pumpkin Spiced Latte last weekend. It's one of my most favorite drinks. Yum.

Just wanted to let you know, I rented season 3 of MM (I've watched the first disc. Betty and Don are still married.). Can you believe my movie store only carries 3? I did call the library, but there is a waiting list a mile long for the first few seasons.

Do you know if I can buy them?

Have fun next weekend. Sounds like a blast.

Take care!

I'm with Sarah-Beth. It's still too hot here to really enjoy a PSL, so I'm waiting until cooler temps move in. But, I'm very envious that you had such a fabulously fall weekend!!!

I hope it's cold tomorrow so I can get a pumpkin latte too!

I'm still icing my hazelnut chai lattes. I love Valley of the Dolls! I read it when I was entirely too young to be reading such, uh, scandalous (for that era!) material. I need to read it again as an adult!

I remember that a good friend of mine that I loaned it to wanted to name her daughter Neely, but she has a daughter now, & I don't think she did...LOL
